Overnight stays in all accommodation, per the Japan Tourism Agency confirmed annual series published 6 July 2026. The preliminary series issued in February gave 653.5 million and a fall of 0.8%; the confirmed series gives 661 105 500 and a rise of 0.3%. The sign differs between the two, so the date of publication matters more than the year of the data.
