- Abha International is the country's third regional airport by weight and a steady leader in GACA's category rankings. No rail; four hours by mountain road from Jeddah. Seasonality runs opposite to the rest of the country: Asir sells in summer, when Riyadh and Jeddah are physically unusable, and it is the one region that absorbs the summer trough in domestic demand.
