Regions

Jordan publishes its tourism geography by place of stay, not by governorate: Petra, the Dead Sea and Wadi Rum are places in their own right. This is the ministry series, shown whole for one year.

Year 2019, the last full year this series was published: 2020 is the pandemic year and no later year exists on this perimeter. The publisher does not state the coverage: 1,657,946 tourists is a subset of the country's overnight visitors, so the shares are usable and the levels are not national hotel nights. The publisher's own "average length of stay, total" adds up the place averages; the figure here is nights divided by tourists.
